Roof cowl DKC 2
Intended use
DKC 2 roof cowl for the Trumatic C (EH), Combi 4 (E) and Combi 6 (E)
liquid gas heaters.
Installation instructions
Choice of location
Select a part of the roof which is as straight as possible and which is
well exposed to wind from all directions.
The cowl must be positioned such that exhaust cannot be
drawn into the interior.
Exhaust duct
The entire length of the double exhaust duct must slope upwards to
prevent the formation of water pockets.
Permissible duct lengths
The length specifications refer to the combustion air intake duct.
Cut ducts to lengths so that these project out of the opening for
the cowl during installation. The exhaust duct (1) must be approx.
15 cm – 20 cm longer than the combustion air infeed intake duct (5),
and in the Trumatic C (EH) it must be approx. 10 cm longer than the
combustion air infeed intake duct (5). This avoids elongation and a
tension load on the exhaust duct.
Assembly of the roof cowl
Drill an opening of 83 mm diameter at a center distance of at least
65 mm to the side walls (pack wood into any hol low spaces in the
area of the cowl opening). Sealing is carried out with the enclosed
rubber seal (20) without further sealing
compound.
Slide rubber seal (20) on the cowl part (21). Pass cowl from above
through the roof and secure with retention ring (22). Next, secure the
screw ring (21) with a screw (44).
Mount cowl cover (23) and secure with two screws (24).
The exhaust openings (25) must be positioned across the direction of
travel. The arrow (26) points in the direction of travel!
Slide clamp (7) over the exhaust gas double duct.
Push coils together at end of exhaust duct (1) to produce approx.
2 cm of compressed coils.
Slide clamp (4) onto connecting piece (28) and engage. Slide flue
gas pipe (1) over the O-ring (27) and below the clamp (4), and tighten
clamp (4).
Slide combustion air intake duct (5) onto the connecting piece (29)
and secure with clamp (7).
Secure double exhaust duct to wall with at least 3 ZRS clamps (17).
Always install a new O-ring following any disassembly.

Utilisation

Instructions de montage
Choix de l'emplacement
Monter la cheminée de toit sur une surface la plus plane possible et
accessible au vent de tous les côtés.
La cheminée doit être placée de sorte à interdire toute entrée
de gaz d'échappement dans l'habitacle.
Guidage des gaz brûlés
Le double tuyau d'évacuation doit être posé en pente montante
constante afin d'empêcher toute formation de poche d'eau.
Longueurs de tuyau admissibles
Les spécifications de longueur se rapportent au tuyau d'alimentation
en air de combustion.
Couper les tuyaux de telle sorte qu'ils dépassent du trou pour la che-
minée. Le tuyau d'évacuation (1) doit être d'environ 15 cm à 20 cm
plus long que le tuyau d'alimentation en air de combustion (5), et
d'environ 10 cm pour le Trumatic C (EH). On évite ainsi une dilatation
et une sollicitation de traction du tuyau d'évacuation.
Montage de la cheminée de toit
Découper une ouverture de Ø 83 mm en respectant une distance mi-
nimale de 65 mm de l'axe de l'ouverture aux parois latérales (si le voi-
sinage du trou de ventouse comporte des cavités, le garnir de bois).
L'étanchéité est assurée par le joint de caoutchouc (20) compris dans
l'équipement sans nécessiter d'autres moyens.
Glisser le joint de caoutchouc (20) sur la pièce cheminée (21). Enfiler
la cheminée par en haut à travers le toit et la serrer à l'intérieur avec
la bague taraudée (22). Puis bloquer la bague taraudée (21) avec une
vis (44).
Enficher le toit de cheminée (23) et la fixer avec 2 vis (24).
Les ouvertures de gaz d'échappement (25) doivent se trouver en tra-
vers du sens de la marche, la flèche (26) étant orientée dans le sens
de la marche.
Glisser le collier (7) par-dessus le tuyau double d'évacuation des gaz
brûlés.
Compresser le bout du tuyau d'évacuation (1) de sorte qu'il se trouve
spire contre spire sur environ 2 cm.
Glisser la bride (4) sur le manchon (28) et l'accrocher. Glisser tuyau
d'évacuation (1) par dessus joint torique (27) et au-dessous de la bride
(4), visser bride (4).
Glisser le tuyau d'alimentation en air de combustion (5) par-dessus le
manchon (29) et le fixe par la bride (7).
Fixer le double tuyau d'évacuation contre la paroi avec au moins 3 bri-
des ZRS (17).
Après chaque démontage, il faut monter un joint torique neuf.
