Wait for the status indicator to turn yellow and then switch off the
scan head power.

After 30 seconds, switch the power back on.

When switched on from cold, the lasers in the scan head will need
time to complete self tests and warm up to the operating
temperature required for optimum performance. The status
indicator will be purple while the self tests are running. The imaging
procedures will not be available during this time (approximately 3
minutes).

Log in to the scan head. Enter your username and password. (all
passwords are case sensitive).
8.5 How do I restart a PC that is running a V2
Vantage Pro application?
Software problems are often temporary and can be fixed by restarting the PC.
When restarting the Image Server PC:

When restarting a Viewing PC, ask the user to
close any Optos applications before shutting down
the PC.
1.
Close all applications on the PC.
2. Start > Shut down > Restart
Select
programs if prompted.
3.
Log on PC when prompted.
4.
Start the application.
5.
You can now re-open any Optos applications on the other PCs.
8.6 What should I do if I boot up the scan head
in error?
Do not shut down the system during boot up. If you need to shut down the
system wait until the boot up has been completed, and the status indicator
shows green and then select
8.7 What should I do if the PC drive on Image
Server is full?
Ask your System Administrator to:
Empty the PC Recycle Bin

Empty the Temporary Internet files
