2. Open the covering for the electrical connection at the rear of the housing using a
suitable screwdriver!
3. Slacken the pull relief!
4. First of all, draw a 3-lead cable (3 x 1.5 NYM-J) through the cable entry in the ter-
minal box and secure the cable with the existing pull relief! Tighten the twisted
nipple to seal off the cable entry opening! It should be possible to switch the con-
necting cable with a light switch as, in this manner, you can switch the floodlight
on and off at any desired time. It is also possible to operate the floodlight by
means of a corresponding motion detector.
The connecting cables should be fitted with silicon hoses! In addition, the bare
cables have to be fitted with suitable lead end sleeves!
5. Now connect the connecting cable to the connection terminal! The earth (yel-
low/green) must be connected!
For this, always observe the identification on the terminal block! N = zero, blue
wire / L = l Phase, brown wire for the 230-Volt voltage supply and, in the centre of
the terminal block the earth (yellow/green wire)
6. After that, screw down the covering of the terminal box again firmly!
Make sure that the seal is seated correctly on the covering and that the terminal
box is thus closed tight again!
Illuminant installation or illuminant
replacement
First of all switch off the floodlight with the light switch!
The illuminant is hot when switched on! To avoid burns, allow the
illuminant to cool down for at least 10 minutes before you replace
it! Always observe the safety instructions here!
1. Open the front illuminant covering of the housing and fold the illuminant down
carefully!
2. Now insert the corresponding illuminant, depending on the model, into the socket!
Observe the "Technical data" for this!
Never touch the halogen lamps directly with the fingers as the grease of the skin
can damage the illuminant. Use a clean cloth for this!

Installation
A cet effet, veuillez observer les instructions ci-après en plus des
consignes de sécurité !
Avant de procéder au montage, coupez l'alimentation électrique
(en retirant le fusible), et sécurisez-la contre toute remise en servi-
ce intempestive !
Assurez-vous également que le câble électrique auquel est relié le
projecteur pour illumination comporte un interrupteur de
marche/arrêt et qu'il soit convenablement protégé par un fusible !
Ne jamais exposer le projecteur pour illumination aux rayons
directs du soleil, à la pluie, à la neige et au givre. Lors d'une instal-
lation extérieure, il convient de choisir un emplacement sous des
rebords de toits à d'autres endroits à l'abri du vent et de la pluie.
Le montage doit s´effectuer seulement sur des surfaces rigides,
par ex. murs, et seulement à l´aide de vis et de chevilles appro-
priées.
1. Veuillez veillez à ce que l'endroit de montage choisi soit adapté au poids du pro-
jecteur. Lors d'un montage sur des surfaces normalement inflammables, il faut
respecter les consignes décrites dans les illustrations ci-après.
Veuillez également noter que l'angle d'inclinaison de l'axe longitudinal par rapport
au niveau horizontal ne dépasse pas 4°. La distance entre le projecteur pour illu-
mination et la surface éclairée doit être de 1 m au moins.
Choisissez alors un endroit de montage adapté et fixez le projecteur pour illumi-
nation impérativement avec des chevilles et des vis appropriées. Il faut bien serrer
les vis !
