Test mode: The LED will light up every time the unit is activated when
the unit is in Test mode.
Battery: When the battery voltage is low, the LED will light up for 2
seconds every time the unit is activated. The LED will flash every 4
seconds when the battery needs to be replaced.
Extension terminal
The unit has an extension terminal for enhanced flexibility that can
be connected to and monitor any type of device with a potential free
contact.
When mounting make sure that the tamper switch is in contact with
the mounting surface.
The extension terminal forms a closed loop with the device that is
connected to it. When the loop is opened a signal is transmitted to the
reciver.
Any additional units with a potential free contact can be added to the
extension terminal.
Connect the extension terminal
1.
Open the unit housing by loosening the fixing screw at the bot-
tom of the device.
2.
Make sure that the jumper switch is enabled.
3.
Break through the knockout on the upper end of the casing to
create a hole for the wiring.
4.
Connect the unit loop to the extension terminal.
Mounting of the unit and magnet, as a door/window contact
It is recommended that the unit should be placed on the
door/window frame and the magnet on the door/window.
Make a pairing/connection test before mounting the unit.
The unit can be mounted vertically or horizontally. The rib marks on
the side of the unit, must be facing the magnet.
1.
Use the two screw holes to mount the unit. Cover the screw
holes with the white caps. Make sure that the tamper switch is in
contact with the mounting surface.
2.
Align the magnet between the two rib marks on the side of the
unit and use the adhesive tape pad to mount it to the door/win-
dow.
Note: The magnet should not be more than 15 mm from the unit
when the door/window is closed.
