Message-codes

There are a number of message codes that may be displayed. The messages are intended to
communicate errors or to report that maintenance must be performed.
Listed below are the codes that may be appear on the display as well as a definition of what they
mean.
Code Definition
rdY The toilet is in StandBy mode and is ready for use
F1
Deviation in temperature measurement in the incineration chamber
F2 Deviation in temperature measurement in the outgoing air
hot1 Temperature measurement too high in incineration chamber during incineration
hot2 Excessive outgoing air temperature measured during incineration
HEAt Heating of the incineration chamber is too slow
ZEro Functional deviation in the control panel
FAn1 The fan's measured speed differs from its expected value
FAn2 The fan is not rotating
dur1 The temperature in the incineration chamber is increasing too slowly
dur2 Incineration has reached its maximum duration since the start button was last pressed
EP0 Functional deviation in the control panel
EP1 Functional deviation in the control panel
ASH1 The ash pan must be emptied
ASH2 The ash pan must be emptied and cleaned
ASH3 The ash pan must be emptied and cleaned. And the smoke pipe must be cleaned
SEr1 Service reminder
Displayed messages are removed by acknowledging they have been read. Messages are ackno-
wledged by pressing the arrow down button on the control panel or by pressing and holding the
start button for ten seconds (only for certain messages). After a message has been acknowledged,
the toilet can be used again.
Should the toilet not work correctly after a message has been acknowledged, we recommend
disconnecting it from the wall socket for 10 seconds and then reconnecting it. Then the toilet can
be used again.

You can try troubleshooting some errors yourself. We have listed some error codes on the next
page with suggested solutions.
If any error codes are displayed that are not listed on the next page, we recommend that you
search for the error code on the Separett website for more information. If you cannot correct the
error, you should report the fault at www.separett.com or contact a service technician.
