Dust Check
Insert the DVD-RAM disc to be checked into the drive and click on the "Dust Check" button in
the window shown on page 79.
The following window is shown.

Note:
The results should only be used as a guide and should not be considered a guarantee of the disc's
ability to read or write.
Caution:
If level 2 or 3 is displayed even after cleaning the disc and drive, there may be scratching or persis-
tent dust.
Use the disc for read only.
To set the check level.
Specify the number of tracks to be checked
per zone on the disc.
The higher the setting the higher the accuracy.
Displays checking progress and results.
The higher the level the dustier the disc.
Displays advice based on the results of the
check.
To return to the first window.
