The region numbers on the DVD-RAM/R drive must match the region number on the DVD-
VIDEO disc.
When this DVD-RAM/R drive was shipped from the factory, the region number was set to "1" (LF-
D321U) or "2" (LF-D321E) to match the region number on a DVD-VIDEO disc sold in your region.
Therefore it is normally unnecessary to change the region number setting.
Use the included DVDRgn software to change the region number setting on the DVD-RAM/R drive.

When CD-R, CD-RW and DVD-R media are read on this DVD-RAM/R drive, there may be a
decline in the read speed and on rare occasions the reading process may not work properly,
depending on the writing drive and disc status and compatibility. If such problems occur, this
DVD-RAM/R drive may be able to properly read the media if the write speed on the writing
device is lowered.
