3 CERTIFICATE OF GUARANTEE

DURATION
UVEX guarantees that the WRC Moto helmet and accessories purchased by the
consumer from an authorised UVEX retailer conforms to the product specifi cations
and will be free of faults and defects for a period of two (2) years from the purchase
date as described by the European Community law.

ACTIVATING THE GUARANTEE AND NOTIFYING FAULTS OR DEFECTS
As soon as the defect is noticed, and within a period of sixty (60) days from its
discovery, the consumer is required to deliver the product, at his or her own care and
expense, to the authorised retailer from which the product was purchased, together
with the Fault Declaration Form (FDF). This should state the relevant fault or defect,
the product homologation number and the name of the client, and be accompanied
by a copy of the original receipt. Failure to fulfi l these conditions will make the
guarantee null and void.
The product should be returned to the UVEX retailer complete with all its accessories
and components, including batteries and charger, cables and original packaging.
The authorised retailer will deliver the product and the documentation requested
above to UVEX.
REPAIRS UNDER GUARANTEE
Under the provisions of the European Community law, UVEX will repair or replace the
product according the following criteria:
• Value of the goods in perfect condition;
• Nature of defect;
• If one of the alternatives can be carried out easily without signifi cant inconvenience
for the consumer.
The repair can, at UVEX's discretion, include software updates and the replacement
of parts or boards with the same functionality, either new or upgraded. The replaced
parts, accessories, batteries or boards are guaranteed for the remaining period of
the original guarantee and the guarantee period of two (2) years from the date of
purchase can in no way be extended.
When the product has been repaired or replaced, UVEX will deliver the product to
the authorised retailer, who will be responsible for passing this on to the consumer.
