Tighten the fixing screws.
Scale allows for setting the footplate to angles: 0
immediately after adjustment has been made.
INSTALLATION AND SETTING THE GUIDE (PARALLEL CUT)
Disconnect the power tool from power supply.
Guide for parallel cutting may be installed on left and right side of the power tool.
Guide scale readout starts on the notch on the flat bar side. The guide can be also used for cutting at angles

Loosen the screws on the footplate (5).
Insert the scaled guide flat bar into two holes.
Fix by tightening the screws.
LASER OPERATION
Use of laser generator
Laser beam allows for better control over the cut line. Laser generator that the device is equipped with is
designed for precise cutting.
Press the laser switch button (8).
Generator starts to emit red line, which is visible on the material.
Make the cut along the line.
Switch off the laser generator when the cutting is finished.
Dust arising from cutting may reduce intensity of laser beam, therefore it is necessary to clean the
generator from time to time.
Never look directly at the source of the laser beam, never point the laser beam at any person.
CUTTING
Lower the blade guard.
Switch on the jigsaw and wait until it reaches its top speed.
Press the jigsaw footplate (5) against material to be processed.
Move the jigsaw slowly along previously set cutting line.
Press the jigsaw very gently when making curved cuttings.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROPER JIGSAW USE
Cut at a uniform rate, pay attention to avoid overloading the power tool. Excessive pressure applied on the
blade will suppress pendulum action, it will affect cutting efficiency unfavourably. Decrease or switch off
the pendulum action completely when cutting along gently curved line.
If the jigsaw footplate does not move on the processed material, but is lifted instead, there is a dan-
ger of breaking the blade.
METAL CUTTING / TYPES OF BLADES
Use appropriate blades with more teeth for metal cutting.
For metal cutting use appropriate lubricant (e.g. oil for cutting). Metal cutting without lubrication leads to
rapid wear of blade. The below table gives the best choices for blade type:

Use only appropriate and sharp blades.
Do not use blades with damaged shank.
Use appropriate blade types.
