4.5 The Remote Control Pro
As an option a Remote Control can be connected to
Inverter 1600 Pro through a standard supplied 20m long
cable. It can be extended to 40m and can be connected
or disconnected at any time while the main unit is
running (hot plug).
The Remote Control Pro is suitable for surface mounting
on the wall or on to a switch board. It is fi xed with 4
screws.
All operating controls and displays except from level
adjustment are available on the Remote Control Pro.
Several extra features are implemented in the remote
control like current monitoring in charger mode, power
monitoring in inverter mode, battery state and fault
indicator. These function are described in chapter
"Control"
The Remote Control pro is also used for programming
the battery level according to chap. "Programming"

4.5.1 Remote alarm contact and on/off control
In the Remote Control Pro there is an additional Alarm
Contact and a Control Input built in. These two functions
are available through Tip-jack RJ11/4 for use. The
Auxiliary Contact is Front / Work Contact (max. 0.5A!),
This contact is active (closed) in case of an alarm of the
In-verter 1600 Pro.
The Control Input is connected in parallel to the On/Off-
push button. The COMPACT can be switched on or off
through this input with an impulse button or an impulse
contact.
Caution:
No external voltage should be connected to
the On/Off Input Control.

5 Programming
Programming is only with Remote Control Pro possible.
The Inverter 1600 Pro is equipped with a
Flash processor fi tted out with EEPROM
Memory, which means that even when
it is disconnected from the battery, the
parameters that were pro-grammed for the
application remain after a new connection
to the battery.
It is possible to reinitialize (RESET) the Inverter 1600
Pro by pressing simultaneously on the three push
buttons , ,
will confi rm the RESET. The inverter switches off after
this operation. It can be turned on again after the beep.
The programmed parameters will remain.
