1) Black control lever in low position (OFF): operation due to
overload, short circuit or dispersion to earth.
2) Black control lever in low position (OFF) and signal appears in
window: operation of circuit breaker due to dispersion to earth.
Accessories
The following accessories may be applied to all circuit breakers:
- Auxiliary contacts S9-X
- Signal contacts S9-S
- Shunt trips S9-T
- Undervoltage releases S9-V
Varistop DS DS 941-951-971-A
The VARISTOP residual current circuit breaker detects current
dispersions to earth, whether alternating or pulsating with direct
components (CEI EN 61009), and is insensible to transitory current
surges up to 250 A peak with waveform 8/20 µs (VDE 0432 T2).
The use of these circuit breakers is particularly recommended when
the system must power equipment with electronic components, such
as personal computers, electronic typewriters or cash registers for
example, or any electronic equipment that has a plug with an earth
pin.

Installation instructions

- Remember that if a low sensitivity (IÆn > 0.03 A) residual current
operated circuit breaker is installed, then protection against indirect
contacts is ensured only if there is an earthing system which
