General information

• All KaWe floor lamps come equipped with all of the parts required
for assembly and connection.
• Due to packaging requirements, the five-footed base of the stand
comes unassembled. The stand post is always delivered as one
piece and needs only to be connected to the base with the fasten-
ing screw, which is found on the bottom of the post.
• The lamp (stand post or horizontal arm) contains an integrated
power cable and shock-proof plug.
• The type of outlet used must be installed in a manner that complies
with IEC and VDE 0100-710 requirements.
• Ensure that the work area containing the light is equipped with a
Schuko-type (two pinned, earthed) outlet.

LIGHT
Information about intended use: This KaWe examination light
was developed to illuminate the area of the patient's body being
examined during medical examinations in hospitals and doctors'
practices.
Main function: The KaWe examination light serves to provide an
excellent depth of illumination.

General product description

• This is a KaWe examination light as described in EN 60601-2-41,
which as individual luminaries, are not failsafe.
• The KaWe examination light is intended to aid in treatment and di-
agnosis.
• The KaWe examination light is used in areas used for medical rea-
sons (group 0, 1 and 2 according to DIN VDE 0100-710 and HD
60364-7-710).
• The light can be mounted on a floor stand, on the wall, on a table,
on supply tracks, on round and square posts, and with a mounting
plate.
• The KaWe examination light is to be serviced every 2 years.
• The light is powered via an electrical cord and plug
