Bar End controls operate the front derailleur and rear derailleur mechanically via cables
and sheaths.
5.1 - IDENTIFYING LEFT HAND BAR END AND RIGHT HAND BAR END CONTROL SETS
The left hand control set (X - Fig. 1) and the right hand control set (Y - Fig. 1) are identi-
fiable by the lateral surfaces on the control sets themselves: the flat surfaces must face
inwards while the rounded surfaces must face outwards (Fig. 1).
