g) Operation

• Always turn the product to the "OFF" position and unplug it from the electrical outlet when it is not in use
• For safety reasons, unplug the mains plug from the mains socket during a thunderstorm.
• Before you move the product, disconnect it from the power supply and let it cool down to room
temperature.
• Never pour any liquids over electrical devices or place objects filled with liquid next to the product.
Should liquid or an object enter the interior of the device, power down the respective socket (e.g. switch
off circuit breaker), and then disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket. Discontinue use and take
the product to a specialist repair centre.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust openings in any manner. Do not use on soft
surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent unauthorized use. Safe
operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
• Danger of electrocution or fire! Do not push any objects through the vents.
• Danger of burns! The hot air vent becomes very hot. Never touch with bare skin.
• Do not use the heater to dry clothes or any other item.

8. Safety Equipment

The heater is equipped with overheat protection that cuts the power when triggered. Immediately remove anything
covering the heater (if applicable), switch the power OFF (5), then disconnect the heater from the power supply. Wait
until the heater has cooled down sufficiently before switching the power back on.
If the heater will not switch ON after cooling down, it may have been damaged from excessive heat. Switch
the power OFF (5), disconnect from the power supply, and contact our technical support service or other
technical personnel.
