Operation

• Make sure the product is turned off. The red on/off switch on the side of
the product must be at O position.
• Connect the power plug to a common household power outlet.
• Turn on the product (on/off switch to I). The switch lights up when the
product is turned on.
• After a short while, the display will show the room temperature. The
default temperature setting is 25 ºC.
• Select a temperature between 16 and 38 ºC. The selected temperature
setting will flash two times. After that, the display will show the current
room temperature again.
When the product is actively heating, there will be a dot on top of
the displayed temperature setting. Once the desired temperature
has been reached, the product stops heating and the dot disappears.
• Use the timer button to set the time after which the product will switch
off automatically.
There are 4 timer settings available: 1H, 3H, 5H or 7H.
Selecting the setting 0H will deactivate the heating function. The
product is in standby mode.
When selecting FU, the product remains switched on and starts
heating, once the room temperature drops below the set temperature.
• In order to use the anti-frost function, select the temperature setting
05. AF will be displayed shortly after. If the room temperature drops
below 5 ºC, the product starts heating automatically until the room
temperature reaches 5 ºC again.
Over-tilt and overheat protection features
• The product features an over-tilt protection mechanism that will switch
off the product automatically in case it tilts over. Check the product for
any damage before using it again. Position the product upright and
switch it on again. Make sure the product cannot accidentally tip over.
• The product also has overheating protection. If the temperature inside
the housing reaches a critical value, the product turns off automatically.
Once the product has cooled down completely, you can operate it
again.
Maintenance and cleaning
• This product does not require maintenance. There are no components
located inside the product you need to maintain. Never open/dismantle
the product. Have maintenance and repairs done by qualified experts
or repair shops only.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other
chemical solutions as they can cause damage to the housing and
malfunctioning.
• Never submerge the product in water or other liquids.
• Before cleaning, turn off and unplug the product. Allow it to cool down
completely.
• To clean the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient. Do not
apply too much pressure to the housing to prevent scratching.
• You can use a long-haired, soft and clean brush and a vacuum cleaner
to remove dust.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be
disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance
with applicable regulatory guidelines.
Remove any batteries from the remote control and dispose of them
separately from the product.
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return
all used batteries/rechargeable batteries. Disposing of them in the
household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labeled with this
symbol to indicate that disposal in the domestic waste is
forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are:
Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable)
batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used batteries/rechargeable batteries can be returned to
collection points in your municipality, our stores or wherever
batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection
of the environment.
