Charger process indication is through the
use of changing Led Color denoting the
charging activity. Refer to Individual
Charger Operating Guides.
First Charge and Conditioning Charge
New Batteries or Batteries that have been
in transit or storage for no more than one
(1) month will require a simple
conditioning charge procedure. Typically
this will involve a simple 'overnight' or 16
hour charge in a standard Motorola
Charger as detailed in Table 1.0. Batteries
that have been stored for periods greater
than one (1) month may require two of
these prolonged charge cycles
interspersed with a discharge. In extreme
situations a second discharge followed by
a Normal four (4) hour charge cycle may
be required.
