Maintenance schedule

Table 1 shows the recommended schedule of maintenance tasks. Facility requirements and
operating conditions can increase the frequency of some tasks.
Component Procedure
Sampler Clean surfaces
Clean rods/moving parts
Remove loose particles off
the y-axis lead screw with a
dry, lint-free cloth.
Replace the pump tubes on
the rinse station assembly.
Dilutor Clean surfaces
Prime dilutor with DI water
before another diluent is used
Replace all tubing
Pump Spray silicone on cloth and
rub on rollers
Replace pump tubes
Clean surfaces
Rinse cartridges
Clean pump tube adapters
Injection valves Clean ports and valve
connectors
Manifolds Clean unions and tees
Replace O-rings
Replace all tubing
Detectors Dry and clean all surfaces
Flow cells Replace flares and O-rings
System unit Keep dry and clean
Replace the heater mandrel
Computer Clean hard drive
How to clean spills
Chemical exposure hazard. Dispose of chemicals and wastes in accordance with local, regional and
national regulations.
1. Obey all facility safety protocols for spill control.
2. Discard the waste according to applicable regulations.
