Installation

Installation procedures and specifications are presented in detail in the In-Sight
2000 Series Vision Sensor Reference Guide, which is installed with In-Sight Explorer
software. To view the manual, from the Windows Start menu, select the following
path: All Programs > Cognex > In-Sight > In-Sight Explorer x.x.x > Documentation.
Note:
Cables are sold separately.

If a standard component is missing or damaged, immediately contact

your Cognex Authorized Service Provider (ASP) or Cognex
Technical Support.
CAUTION: All cable connectors are keyed to fit the connectors on the vision
sensor. Do not force the connections or damage may occur.
Mount the Vision Sensor
Mounting the vision sensor at a slight angle (15°) can reduce reflections and improve
performance.
Use the universal mounting bracket (DM100-UBRK-000) with the mounting holes
on the I/O connector module.
