Importing Audio

Many music production workflows include us-
ing audio loops and audio from sample libraries.
For example, you can use drum loops instead of
a click track for recording. You can even com-
bine and arrange audio loops and "one-shot"
samples from a variety of sources to create a
whole new piece of music.
Pro Tools Express provides a number of ways to
import audio files from different sources into a
session. You can import audio from a hard
drive, a network volume, an audio CD, or
removable media using the
command, or by dragging and dropping from a
DigiBase browser, or from the Finder (Mac) or
Windows Explorer (Windows).
