Persons to be excluded from the operation
The Induction Heater F – 2300 must not be operated by the following persons:
persons with a pace-maker;

persons with mental or physical limitations who could endanger themselves and/or their

environment when operating the device;
persons under 16 years of age, provided that the work with the device is not monitored by
■
an adult.
Initial operation
Before initial operation of the device please make sure:
That the original power cord with IEC lock is connected to
the device (in case of doubt please contact the supplier);
which the iDuctor is undamaged (no cracks or holes in the
casing);
That only Induction Heater F – 2300 induction coils are used
that had been produced according to the manufacturer's
specifications.
Before you can start to heat the device, an induction coil or
induction tube has to be fixed to the device. For attaching
or detaching of the induction coils both buttons at the sides
must be pressed simultaneously.
Then plug in both ends of the induction coil resp. the induc-
tion tube all the way into the two corresponding slots on
the front side of the device. Release the buttons again, the
clamping mechanism ensures that the induction coil sits
neatly and firmly.
Please use an induction coil size that surrounds the object
to be heated with the smallest possible distance without
however touching it, as the magnetic energy transfer then
works best and the object is heated fastest. You also pre-
vent the protective layer of the coil from being damaged or
from wearing out too quickly due to overheating.
When using an induction tube it is important to wrap the
object to be heated with as little windings as possible. Too
many windings result in too high intensity of current which
then activates the fuse. The optimum amount of windings
depends on the object to be heated. Start with only one
winding and then increase the number of windings gradu-
ally if necessary.
