C. When the Heating Indicator Light (9) off, put Espresso/Steam Heating Switch (10) to the [ ]
position until at least a cup of water drain from the Group Head.
D. Put Espresso/Steam Heating Switch (10) to the central position, wait until the Heating Indicator
Light (9) off.
E. When the Heating Indicator Light (9) off, the coffee brewing temperature is reach. You can begin
to brew a creamy coffee. If it is the first time to use the coffee machine, repeat process C and D
for three times.
7). Please follow these steps to clean the mechanism of the coffee machine when it is used for the
first time:
A. Insert the Portafilter (12) into the Group Head and turn it right until it is tight. Put Espresso/Steam
Heating Switch (10) to the [ ] position. After at least 5-6 cups of water drain from the Spout
(14), put Espresso/Steam Heating Switch (10) to the central position to stop pumping water.
B. Take off the Portafilter (12), change the Filter Basket for Holeless Cleaning Cup(12-3).
Attach the Portafilter (12) into the machine tightly again. Put Espresso/Steam Heating Switch (10)
to the [ ] position. Turn the Steam Lever (6) all the way down. After 30 seconds, put the Espresso
/Steam Heating Switch (10) to the central position. Repeat the above processes for several times.
During these processes, the Portafilter (12) should be attached with the machine all the time.
After finish these processes, move the Steam Lever (6) back to its original position.
4.Coffee Brewing
1) After preheating, take off the Portafilter (12). Measure a proper quantity of coffee powder into
the Filter Basket. Use the Coffee Presser to press the coffee powder.
2) After pressing the coffee powder, wipe the extra coffee powder from the edge of the Portafilter,
in case the rubber seal that connected tightly with the Portafilter would be damaged.
Please note:
If too much coffee powder is put into the Filter Basket, the extra coffee powder would leave on the edge
of the Portafilter when the Portafilter is inserted into the machine. Coffee may leak out of the side of the
filter while brewing. The rubber seal will be damaged if it is not cleaned for a long term.
3) Insert the Portafilter (12) into Group Head (19) tightly.
4) Put the cup under the Spout (14). Put Espresso/Steam Heating Switch (10) to the [ ] position.
Coffee will come out from the Spout slowly. When the coffee reach the proper quantity, put
Espresso/Steam Heating Switch (10) to the central position to stop brewing coffee.
5). After brewing coffee, clear the coffee powder in the Filter Basket immediately. Please use hot
water to clean it before inserting it into the Group Head (19) of the machine for next brewing.
Attention:
When using the machine,
especially Steam Nozzle (4), Group Head (19), Drain Pipe (1) and nearby.
Please don't touch the metal parts except the Heatproof Jacket (17).
