5.2.2 Slave loop
- Connect your secondary loop to the »speakON« Slave loop connector.
- Disconnect the primary loop from the »speakON« Master loop connector
- Increase the output current via the Slave output adjuster on the front panel of the
driver to reach between 75% and 100% on the output level indicator.
- Take a field strength meter and take a second measurement in the center of your room.
5.2.3 Final adjustments
Connect the two loops and then adjust the settings until you reach a minimum signal of
-3dB in the area with the lowest reception within the intended coverage area.
Carry out the test procedures to perform an IEC60118-4 compliant installation.
For more details on the IEC60118-4 standard settings contact us at info@audioropa.com
or contact your local dealer.
5.3 Securing the settings
The amplifiers are supplied with a set of 8 small adhesive circles, these are intended to
close the setting controls to avoid unwanted adjustments.

5.4 Metal loss compensation adjustment

If you recognise a distortion of the signal due to magnetic pollution, turn the Metal Loss
control on the front panel of the driver clockwise.
Check your measurements in high frequencies with a sine wave tone of 4kHz and adjust
the compensation settings to achieve acceptable measurements to IEC60118-4.

5.5 Operation of the fault contact

When the amplifier is working properly the »NO / NC« relay is activated, giving a connec-
tion between the »NC« (Normally Closed) pin and the »O« pin.
If the error detection registers an operating problem (disrupted loop, inadequate ohmic
loop resistance, overloaded driver, etc.) the »NO / NC« relay is disabled, giving a connec-
tion between the »NO« (Normally Open) pin and the »O« pin.
