1. Begin by filling the impulse unit with syringe <B> by way of the
drive shaft, until oil emerges through the seal hole.
2. Assemble the compression spring <80>/<125>, bolt <81>/<126>,
ball<82>/<127>, valve screw <86>/<131> and needle roller <87>/
<132>. Turn the valve screw back gently against the needle roller
(protection against loss).
3. Connect the pulse unit using the adapter <A2> to the quick
disconnect coupling.
4. Close the shut-off valve
5. Connect pressure of about 5 bar.
6. Slowly open the shut-off valve fully, until the pressure gauge
shows a vacuum of about 1 mbar (-1 bar).
7. Wait for about 2 minutes, until the number of vacuum bubbles has
substantially reduced.
8. Slowly close the shut-off valve. The pressure gauge shows
atmospheric pressure again, and missing oil is forced into the
pulse unit.
9. Repeat steps 6 to 8, if necessary, until the number of bubbles is
negligible.

Disconnect the pulse unit, remove the adapter and add a few
drops of oil with syringe <B>.

Install the ball <78>/<123> and tighten the set bolt <79>/<124>
(2,9±0,3 Nm).
The bearing ring <77>/<122> must not turn along!

Tighten bearing ring <77>/<122> to the required torque (8. Assembly
Instructions, Fig 7).

Push ring <89>/<134> onto bearing ring.

Fit ball bearing with the <91>/<136> circlip <90>/ <135> into the
housing <94>/<139>. Insert the O-ring <93>/<138>. Push fully
over the long shaft end of the hydraulic rotor.

Fit ring <92>/<137> and retaining ring <88>/<133>. Screw the
whole component onto the pistol grip.

Remove retaining ring <88>/<133>, needle roller <87>/<132>,
valve screw <86>/<131> and ball <82>/<127>.

Knock out bolt <81>/<126> and compression spring <80>/<125>.

Remove set bolt <79>/<124>. Remove ball <78>/<123> by turning
the drive shaft <73>/<118>, keeping the opening away from the
body.

Undo bearing ring <77>/<122> by 360° +90°.

Carry out oil filling, see 6.6.

Small bubbles appearing at high vacuum pressure in the
wetting layer between the oil and the material are not
indicating leakage of the pulse unit. The filling result will
not be affected thereby.
