The following pages show a number of safe ways to fit the KISS seat in your car. Rear-facing in the front seat or rear seat. Using
ISOFIX or adult two or three-point belts.
NB!!
If the seat is placed in the front seat, the airbag must be physically deactivated, either by removing the airbag or by shutting off
with a key. Check the car's instruction manual or contact the car dealer.

Rear-facing child seats, belt seats, belt cushions or baby protectors must not be placed in the front seat unless the airbag is
deactivated first. Any child less than 140cm in height should not travel in the front seat if the airbag is active.
The Nordic countries are the best countries in Europe when it comes to seeing children travelling in rear-facing seats. This is why
fewer children are injured or killed in traffic.
Unfortunately, they are changing what they do. More young children are now travelling in forward-facing seats. This is because
many parents are unsure of what to do about their airbags.
The new KISS seat is designed for rear-facing fitting only. If you put it in the front seat, the airbag has to be either removed or
physically deactivated. The latter is often achieved by turning a key.
Side impact airbags do not often cause a problem. But as far as anything to do with airbags is concerned, you should study the
instruction manual that came with your car, or ask the car manufacturer or your nearest dealer for advice
