Loading/Removing battery


Slide the battery compartment cover open as indicated.

Insert the Li-ion battery into the battery compartment as indicated. Note that the
metallic contacts on the battery must be aligned
with those in the compartment.

Make sure the drop prevention lever clicks into
place. Replace the compartment cover.

To remove the battery, push the drop prevention
lever downward and take out the battery pack.
Upon using the battery for the first time, you are
recommended to discharge and then fully charge the battery for at least 8 hours.
Treat the Li-ion battery with care:
• Keep the battery away from fire or high-temperature place (over 140º F or 60º C).
• Do not drop the battery or try to disassemble it.
• If the battery is not used for long periods, fully discharge and charge the battery at
least once a year to maintain its life cycle.
Purchasing additional batteries:
This camcorder uses one 3.7 volt - 700mAh Li-ion battery as power source. You can
purchase compatible batteries at your local shop.
Do not remove the battery with force, or the battery pack may hit and cause damage to
the compartment cover.
