7.5 FLUE MAINTENANCE
Under normal operating conditions, the chimney must be cleaned every 40 quintals of burnt wood or at least every year
unless otherwise specified.
During cleaning it is advisable to remove the flue gas box and the Twister Flue (if present) located at the smoke outlet to
promote falling of the soot.
7.5.1 POOR FUME DRAW
If it occurs upon initial ignitions, check that the flue is not obstructed by debris, birds' nests or by anything else in the
chimney cowl. In addition, the connection to the flue must be carried out according to the instructions, without restrictions
and hermetically sealed in the joints with the flue. If this problem occurs after a period of normal operation, it is necessary
to check and clean the flue.
