Operating Instruction
4. Operating the starting aid
1. Switch the vehicle ignition and all electri-
EN
cal consumers in the vehicle OFF before
you connect the cables.
2. Before you use the Reanimator, ensure
that the switch is in the "OFF" position.
Always ensure that the cable clamps do
not touch each other.
3. Only use the Reanimator in a well-venti-
lated location.
4. Connect the red clamp to the positive ter-
minal of the vehicle battery and the black
clamp to the negative terminal of the bat-
tery, or alternatively to the engine block
or the vehicle body. A warning tone will
sound if you have connected the clamps
incorrectly. In this case, do not turn the
Reanimator's ON/OFF switch to the ON
position. This can cause severe damage
to the Reanimator or the vehicle. Please
connect the clamps correctly without
delay. Ensure that no cables, objects or
body parts are able to get caught in the
engine's moving parts.
5. Once you have connected the clamps
correctly, turn the Reanimator's ON/OFF
switch to the ON position.
6. Start the engine. If the engine does not
start within 3 to 5 seconds, stop the
starting procedure and wait for at least
3 minutes before trying to start the en-
gine again.
7. Once the engine starts, turn the Reanima-
tor's ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
8. Disconnect the Reanimator.
9. Disconnect the negative clamp first be-
fore disconnecting the positive clamp.

10. Fully charge the Reanimator's internal
battery again after use.
After starting a vehicle, the Reanimator is not
permitted to remain connected for longer
than 2 minutes with a running engine.
5. Charging
Insert the supplied charger into the plug
socket and then into the Reanimator's ciga-
rette-lighter socket. The supplied charger is a
fully automatic charger and can also remain
permanently connected to the Reanimator.
Once the device is fully charged, the charger
switches to the charge-retention mode.
The LED control lamp then starts to flash
green. Charging must always take place in a
constantly well-ventilated room.
5.1 Emergency charging with a
donor vehicle
This charging method constitutes an excep-
tional circumstance and is only used if nor-
mal charging with the automatic charger is
not possible for time reasons.
Attention: This charging method is not au-
tomatic and requires the operator to closely
monitor the process. Never leave the Reani-
mator unsupervised while it is charging. Nev-
er leave the Reanimator connected for longer
than 2 minutes while the engine is running.
Operating Instruction
1. Ensure that the surroundings are ade-
quately ventilated.
2. Ensure that the battery pliers are correctly
connected and grip firmly.
3. Start the engine and let the Reanimator
charge for 2 minutes with the engine
running.
4. Switch the device off using the ON/OFF
switch and disconnect the battery pliers
again.
5. The capacitors are now sufficiently
charged for a new start attempt to be
made on the recipient vehicle.
5.2 Intermediate charging with a
donor battery
Alternatively, and also only in exception-
al circumstances, the Reanimator can be
charged intermediately using a fully charged
external donor battery.
To do so, connect the battery pliers to the
donor battery correctly so that their grip is
firm, then charge the Reanimator until the
potential is equalised.
