For batteries with cell closures, remove the cell closures and check out the status of the battery charging. If the electrolyte
ź
level is below the recommended level, add distilled water.
For batteries without cell closures, carefully follow the manufacturer's charging instructions.
ź
Make sure that the vehicle's ignition is switched off (if the accumulator is connected in the vehicle).
ź
Connect the charger, always follow these steps:
ź
Plug the 230V plug into the mains.
ź
The BATTERY TYPE-REGULAR / GEL lights up on the screen. The AGM or REGULAR / GEL recharging of accumulators
ź
can be selected by using the controller. If you are not sure about the type of your battery, select REGULAR / GEL.
Use the MODE button to select the charging type
ź
Charging current 2A – thrifty charging mode. Suitable for e.g. for accumulators of 12V motorcycle, quad bikes
ź
batteries etc.
Charging current 12 A – standard mode. Suitable especially for auto mobile accumulators.
ź
Start mode 75A for emergency start up of the vehicle
ź
Insert the positive clamp of the charger (red) to the positive (+) terminal of the accumulator.
ź
Connect the negative clamp of the charger (black) to the negative (-) terminal of the accumulator.
ź
The charging status indicator (CHARGING nn%) will appear on the screen
ź
After charging the accumulator, FULLY CHARGED lights up on the screen and the charger automatically switches to charged
ź
mode in which the microprocessor delivers targeted charging without overcharging or damaging the accumulator.
Always disconnect the charger from the 230V mains and after then from the accumulator after charging.
ź
If you have opened the battery cell closures, you must close them again.
ź
If the accumulator does not have enough power to turn the starter, the charger can be used for an emergency start the of the
ź
engine.
Caution – some vehicles are not designed for the use of the starter system, it may damage the car's electrical system. Make
ź
sure that you can use the starter in your car. You can get information in car user's manual or directly at the manufacturer /
supplier of the car.
Connect the charger to the accumulator in the car and then connect the plug to the 230V mains.
ź
Turn the ignition key and start the vehicle engine. If the engine does not start immediately, follow the cycles (start the starter
ź
for 3 sec, then turn it off for 120 s, max. 5 cycles).
After starting the car, firstly disconnect the charger from the 230V mains and then from the vehicle's accumulator.
ź
Warning: Starts of the engine must be strictly followed by start / stop cycles, if the engine does not start, do not continue. If
ź
you continue, the accumulator and even the vehicle's electrical equipment could be damaged. Before starting, we
recommend you charging the battery quickly for 10 to 15 minutes to make it easier to start the engine.
Heavily discharged and damaged car batteries can not be charged by using this charger. If the 12V car battery voltage drops
below 8V, the microprocessor in the charger will mark the battery as damaged and will not charge it!
If the 12V car battery voltage drops below an acceptable level, the charger can evaluate this car battery as 6V and will not
charge it properly!
The manufacturer does not take responsibility for accidents or damages resulting from non-compliance with this manual.
Changes in text, design, and technical specifications could be changed without previous warning and we reserve the right to
change them.
Do not dispose power tools and devices into the household waste!
According to European Directive 2012/19 / EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and in the
enforcement of national law, used power tools must be collected separately and shipped to an appropriate
recycling plant.
