C. When browsing though audio files, the
interface displays:
The camera has no speaker and does not play
audio files; you have to use a PC.
Meaning of each symbol in this mode:
- The white numbers at the top indicate the
duration of the audio file.
9. Connecting to a computer and charging
After completing the recording, as shown below,
use the USB cable to copy or cut the recorded
files on your computer for playback. You can
also remove the Micro-SD card and use a reader
to retrieve the saved data. We recommend
MediaPlayer, KMPlayer, etc. to play the files.
Important! When connected to the computer,
remember the following situations:
1. The camera can be used as a removable disk
by using the USB cable.
2. It can be used as a WebCam, by pressing
and holding STOP/REC and connecting to a
computer.
3. After connecting to a computer via a USB
cable, the camera will charge automatically and
the charging lights will light up.
4. By using the charger included, you can record
and charge at the same time; this is suitable for
long recordings.
5. Before connecting the USB cable, switch off
the camera; we recommend charging when it is
switched off.
10. WebCam mode
Install the included software CD before use;
press and hold STOP/REC and connect to a
computer. A standard video set-up will appear
on your computer; it may now be used as a
WebCam.
Connect it to the computer using the USB cable;
it can be used for online video communication
such as Skype, MSN, QQ, etc.
With some third-party applications, videos taken
from the computer can be viewed in real time;
you can save the videos on the PC, or with
Amcap.
Important: To use the WebCam function, press
and hold STOP/REC and then connect it to the
computer, or you will only be able to use it as a
removable disk.

on other surfaces, using the adhesive tape or the

12. Adjusting the time
You have the option of recording video with
synchronised time; the date and time of recording
will be displayed on the upper left corner of the
screen, for example, as follows: 2010-01-01,
10:08:28.
How to adjust the time:
Connect the camera to the PC and create a test
file with the name time.txt in the directory of the
removable disk. Then open the file and enter the
date and time information in the following format:
2010.01.06, 10:08:28.
Save the file, disconnect the camera from the PC
and reboot the device.
