3.4 Installation of the crosspiece

Unscrew the M8 bolts which are pre-assembled at
the crosspiece ends.
Carefully hoist the crosspiece with a lift truck or other
hoisting means, making sure not to damage the
crosspiece or let it drop during hoisting.
Lean the crosspiece on the uprights. Insert the fixing
bolts and tighten them. (Fig. 6)

3.5 Assembly of the counterweight

Remove the weights from their support.
Unroll the counterweight lifting belts from the winding
drums, leaving only 1 belt ring on the drum, and make
the belts run across the extension pulleys (fig.7). String
the belt on the counterweight plates and fix them by
means the special clamp (fig.8). The belts length must
be adjusted to have the counterweights at about
200mm. from the floor (with the door completely opened;
fig.9).
Replace the counterweight plates on their support
(fig.10).
