SPECIFICATION

a. Monitor
1. 26 cm colour monitor screen on which is displayed the visitor's face.
2. Turned on screen, communication with the roadside panel, a single pulse is sufficient to activate the communica-
tion with the roadside panel. Another pulse will switch off the communication and the image of the roadside panel.
Standby screen, Intercommunication with the optional additional monitor (WEVPMS JCH TOUCH SER.R1).
SER.R1 option is installed.
4. Silence mode, switches off the ring tone.
5. Allows to enter the menu to select the ringing (4 choice)
6. Control of a strike/lock (valid only if the screen is switched on).
7. Control of an automatic gate opener (valid only if the screen is turned on).
8. Microphone, to communicate with the roadside panel and the additional monitor.
9. Key to enter the menu screen/ Turn On/off the frame lights.
10. Turned on screen increments the setting; turned off screen increases the brightness of the frame
11. Turned on screen decrements the setting; turned off screen decreases the brightness of the frame
12. Potentiometer, on the right side of the monitor, for setting the ring tone sound level.
13. Speaker, for the ring tone, to communicate with the roadside panel and the additional monitor.
b. Roadside panel

1. CCD camera lens with automatic focus, equipped with a lighting for a low-light vision (for
night vision, use an additional lighting system).
2. Speaker: allows to be heard outside.
3. Name holder and call button: when pressing this button, the internal and external unit ring, the camera and the
monitor start working (illuminated name holder). (If muting only rings outside)
4. Fixing screw of the front face on its frame. Remove this face to have access to the connection terminal block
and to the mounting holes of the roadside panel
5. The microphone allows you to communicate with the internal unit.
6. To write the name on the label holder, carefully release the front part of the name holder with small screwdriv-
ers.

INSTALLING

IMPORTANT !
If you try your video door phone before installing it, do not do it with the roadside panel and the monitor in the
same room, otherwise the video door phone will produce a shrill sound (Larsen effect).
a. Roadside panel
C+ C-
1. Separate the front face from the camera block by removing the 2 screws (a).
2. Through the cable gland (b), pass the 2-wire cable coming from the monitor
and the one of the strike and/or the one for controlling the automatic gate
opener.
3. Fix the roadside panel on the column with 2 screws in the holes (c).
4. Connect the wires to the terminal block (d).
6. 2 settings accessible on the upper part of the roadside panel:
To change the settings, use a small screwdriver and turn it carefully without force to the abutments.
(f) on the left, setting of the sound level for the speaker of the roadside panel.
(g) on the right, setting of the sound level for the speaker of the monitor.
7. Replace the front plate and secure it by replacing the 2 screws at the bottom of the roadside panel (a).
Make sure to position the front panel in the notches located at the top of the roadside panel.
WARNING
: Do not expose the camera to direct sun light or to reflective surface.
