Foreword
To guarantee a correct function and a minimal service,
it is important to read and understand the information
in this instruction manual.
This product is designed to meet the requirements
of the relevant directives. To maintain this status all
installation, repair and maintenance work must be
carried out by qualified personnel using only original
spare parts. Contact the manufacturer or your
nearest authorised dealer for advice on technical
service or if you require spare parts.

Mounting instruction

See page 2. The Filterbox is made to be mounted on
a wall. (Floor stand and trolley are available as options,
see page 5.) Position the holes using the enclosed
template. Use a spirit level to ensure horizontal mounting.
Select a level surface on which to mount the Filterbox.
Ensure that suitable fixing bolts are used and that they
are secure. The bolts must each stand a torque force
of minimum 2100 N.
H = Recommended mounting height
X = Minimum distance from wall which allows
for filter cartridge replacement

Electrical installation

Check that the mains voltage is the same as on the sign
plate of the FilterBox. Connect the Filterbox to the mains
and connect possible accessories according to the
enclosed wiring diagram. Cable entries with grip rings
should be used when connecting the accessories.
WARNING!
Risk for personal injury.
Turn off power before unscrewing
the cover of the control box.

FILTERBOX
Initial operations
1. Switch the main circuit breaker on the connection box.
The light emission diode E on the control board of the
connection box indicates green fixed light for a short while.
2. Start the FilterBox with the button S1, alternatively with
the switch on the hood of the extractor arm. The light
emission diode F indicates fixed green light.
3. Push the button S2. Check that the filter cartridge ro-
tates in the direction of the arrow. See picture X, page 2.
4. If the filter cartridge rotates in the wrong direction,
the wires connecting the cleaning motor to the electrical
connection box must be reversed. (Applicable for 3-phase.
This operation must be carried out by a qualified
electrician.)
5. Move the cleaning arm in the direction shown and
secure. See picture X, page 2.
The FilterBox is now ready for use.

Overload protector

The FilterBox is equipped with an overload protector
which means that the power disconnects automatically
if the fan motor should be overloaded. The light emission
diode F with fixed red light indicates: Released overload
protector and disconnected power.
Examine the reason by checking:
• the power connection
• possible phase disappearence
• that the ampere-number on the overload protector is
adjusted correctly according to the type label of the fan
motor
• that the fan impeller not is blocked
The overload protector automatically resets after a
couple of minutes.
