4. Remove the screw that secures the external optical drive in the external optical drive box. Use the
screwdriver to slide the external optical drive forward and then remove the external optical drive from
the external optical drive box.

5. Remove the two screws that secure the external optical drive metal plate and then remove the metal
plate from the external optical drive.
