Receiver Side
Problems
There is no audio/video on TV
Cannot select the sources on
the transmitter
Cannot change the sources on
the transmitter

Possible Causes
Power adapter for receiver is
not plugged in
Receiver is not
turned on
Sources on transmitter side are
not turned on
Signal cables for the sources on
transmitter side are not plugged
in
Signal cable for the TV is not
plugged in
TV cable is plugged in the
wrong port
TV display mode is not
selected properly
VCR on the receiver side is
playing
Discrepancy in Family ID
between the transmitter and
receiver
UHF remote control is out of
range
Discrepancy in Family ID
between the receiver and
transmitter
IR extender is not connected to
the transmitter
IR extender is not facing the IR
sensor of the selected source

Solutions
Plug in the power adapter
Turn on the receiver
Turn on the sources
Plug in the signal cables for the
sources
Plug in the signal cable to the
TV
Plug the TV cable to the
correct port
Adjust the TV display mode
Turn off the VCR
Make sure the Family ID
setting for receiver is the same
as transmitter
Shorten the usage range
Make sure the Family ID
setting for receiver is the same
as transmitter
Connect the IR extender to the
back panel of the transmitter
Face the IR extender and
sensor of the selected source to
each other
