Der EZM 12 ist für eine besonders gute Reinigung und Desinfizierbarkeit optimiert.
Durch eine entsprechende Gestaltung aller Gehäuseteile werden sogenannte
Schmutzfangstellen vermieden. Unter anderem sind die Kronenflanken durch
ihre großflächige Wellenform leicht zu reinigen. Die lasergravierten Drehring-
markierungen sind vertiefungslos ausgeführt. So kann sich daran kein Schmutz
ablagern.
Eine weitere Besonderheit des EZM 12 ist die schnelle und einfache Demontage
von Bandsystem und Drehring. Das Bandsystem lässt sich ohne Werkzeug ab-
nehmen. Der Drehring wird mit Hilfe des großen Schraubendrehers am mitgelie-
ferten Taschenmesser ganz leicht abgelöst. Eine ausführliche Anleitung hierzu
finden Sie auf den Seiten 28 bis 33.
Die Komponenten der Uhr sind geeignet zur Desinfektion mit:
• Ethanol-,
• Propan-2-ol-,
• Propan-1-ol-,
• n-alkylaminopropylgycinhaltigen Desinfektionsmitteln
wie z. B. Bacillol 30 Foam.
Spülen Sie Ihre Uhr nach dem Desinfizieren mit Leitungswasser ab. Verwenden
Sie dafür keine Spülmittel. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, die Wasserdichtigkeit mindes-
tens in jährlichen Abständen überprüfen zu lassen. Bitte beachten Sie auch die
Hinweise auf Seite 39.

The EZM 12 is optimized for specifically good cleaning and disinfectability. Due
to an appropriate design of all parts of the housing, so-called dirt collection
locations are prevented. Among other things, due to the large area of the
waveform, the crown edges are easy to clean. The laser engraved rotating ring
marks are designed with no indentations. Thus, no contamination can deposit
there.
Other peculiarities of the EZM 12 are the quick and easy removal of the strap
system and rotating bezel. The strap system can be removed without using a tool.
With the aid of the large screwdriver on the pocketknife provided, the rotating
bezel is very easily removed. For detailed instructions refer to pages 28 to 33.
The components of the watch are suitable for disinfection using:
• Ethanol-,
• Propane-2-ol-,
• Propane-1-ol-,
• disinfectant containing n-alkylamino propylgyc such as, e.g. Bacillol 30 Foam.
After disinfecting your watch, rinse it subsequently using tap water. Do not
use any cleaning liquid. We recommend that you have the impermeability
checked a minimum of once a year. Please also pay attention to
the notes on page 39.
