Operational Problems

Problem
Device won't switch on
Disc in, but no playback possible

Operation Manual
Solution
Push the plug in properly
-Pull the power cable out of the
device
- Pull the fuse holder and fuse out of
the built-in device plug (on the side
of the housing)
- Insert the fuse holder with the new
fuse back into the built-in device
plug
CD with label side upwards
Remove printed cardboard CD
Clean disc
Due to possible faults in the writing
process of various types of CD-
burners, it may be the case that
some CD RWs won't play
Let the device acclimatise for ca. 1
hour
Clean disc
Use undamaged disc
Place on a stable surface
Press stop (no input is possible
during playback)
Don't select a higher number that of
the last CD track
Change the batteries in the remote
control
Hold the remote control in the
direction of the loudspeaker/front
panel
If the cassette can be erased,
sellotape over the openings on the
rear side of the cassettes
Centre pitch control
Regulate the volume via the VOL- or
VOL+ controls
Tighten the cassette tape with a
pencil or similar
Clean the erase head, head tension
roller and head in the cassette drive
with a cotton bud and alcohol
