PLAY/PAUSE (Playback/Pause)
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play a CD from the beginning. The
first track on the CD starts playing. The playback operation is displayed
on PLAY (or on the
While the CD is playing, press the PLAY/PAUSE button to pause the
playback. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button again to deactivate the
pause function and restart the CD playback.
STOP
Press the STOP button to stop the CD.
VOL+ / VOL-
Use the VOL+ and VOL- buttons to set the total volume on the device.
After switching the device on, the volume is set at an average of 40 dB.
The volume can be set at a range of 0 dB to 80 dB (see Figure 3).
Press the VOL+ button to increase the volume and the VOL- button
to turn the volume down.
Note: Using the remote control or the VOL+/VOL- button on the
CD player to set the total volume influences the total
volume in all functions as well as the cassette drive. This
cannot be controlled via the volume control on the box.
DOWN/REW and UP/FF (Track search)
During playback it is possible to change the CD track to the previous or
next track by pressing the button very quickly (shorter than half a
second). To find a particular point in a track, press the appropriate
button (longer than half a second).
REPEAT
Press the REPEAT button. The track which is being played at that
moment is repeated and REPEAT flashes on the display.
Press the REPEAT button again. The whole CD or the
preprogrammed track is repeated until the REPEAT button is
pressed again. REPEAT flashes up on the display.
Press the REPEAT button a third time and the repeat function is
stopped.
