Recording onto a cassette from the CD drive
Put the cassette into the cassette deck.
Press the PAUSE button.
Press the REC button.
Press PLAY on the internal CD drive and release the PAUSE
button on the TLS device to start the recording.
Note: The recording level is automatically optimized. The tone
setting on the TAPE/CD does not affect the recording, but
rather regulates the monitor volume function. Interrupt the
recording briefly by pressing the PAUSE button. Finish the
recording by pressing the ST/EJ button. If you want to
connect a microphone, the microphone recording can be
mixed in. The MIC volume control serves as a monitor
control.

OPEN/CLOSE (Opening and closing the CD drive)
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD drive. Put the CD into
the CD drive with the print side up. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button
again to close the CD drive. The CD starts to turn automatically. As
soon as the total number of tracks on the CD is displayed, the CD
player is ready. If the PLAY button is pressed instead of the
OPEN/CLOSE when the CD is put into the machine, the CD drive is
automatically closed and the playback starts with the first track.
