ENHANCED VIBRATION/
MAGNET ROLLER
SENSITIVITY CONTROL
The sensitivity control can be used to select between
'rollerwheel only' and 'rollerwheel + vibration' modes. It
also allows the user to select 5 pre-set levels of sensitivity
for each mode.
In all sensitivity settings (except maximum), the line must
travel the specified distance in the same direction, in
order to trigger the unit. Any movement in the opposite
direction will reset the distance counter to zero. This can
substantially reduce, or eliminate, false triggering caused
by wind and water movement. In addition, the range of
sensitivity has been narrowed down in comparison to
previous models, to give finer control and more useful
settings.
Maximum rollerwheel sensitivity is selected with the
control in the '12 o'clock' position. In this position, a
maximum of 7.5mm of line movement is required to
trigger the unit. For each of the next four positions,
counting clockwise, the movement increases by an
additional 7.5mm, ie

Maximum vibration sensitivity is selected with the control
one step anticlockwise from the "12 o'clock" position.
For each of the next four positions, counting
anticlockwise, the vibration sensitivity is reduced by a
pre-set amount.
In all five vibration settings, rollerwheel sensitivity is
always maximum.
When changing from rollerwheel to vibration settings, it
is necessary to trigger the unit once by rotating the
rollerwheel, in order for the change to take effect.
NON-SLIP ROD PADS
Specially designed non-slip pads prevent the rod slipping
in the crotch of the bite alarm.
TRANSIT
A hardcase designed to snap over the Micron RX that
gives total protection whilst in transit is available
allowing you to leave the Microns on the buzzer bar if
you wish, and eliminating the risk of the On/Off switch
being accidentally switched on.
EXTENSION BOX SOCKET
2.5mm socket to accept Micron TXR Remote System or
Micron XB Extension boxes. (PLEASE NOTE to be used in
conjunction with Micron Extension leads)
DROP BACK FACILITY
Differentiates between forward and drop back movement
of the line. Runs and forward movement are identified
by a single tone with the LED illuminated during
movement and latching for 20 seconds afterwards.
Drop backs are identified as a two tone sound with a
pulsing LED, which remains 'flashing' for 20 seconds
afterwards.
