WARNING
This product can generate sound
pressure levels exceeding 100dBA @ 1m.
On no account should the product be
triggered or switched on, when held close
to the ear, as permanent hearing
damage may occur.
BATTERY
The Micron operates with a 9
volt PP3 battery. To fit/replace
the battery, turn off prior to
replacing, open the case by
sliding the battery cover off at
the rear of the bite alarm. Take
care removing the battery
connector, ensure correct
polarity and connection prior
to turning back on. The use of
a good quality Alkaline battery
is recommended to ensure
maximum battery life.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN UNIT IS TRIGGERED
Single tone pulses - LED illuminates constantly during
pulses and for 20 seconds afterwards
Two-tone pulses - LED flashes slowly during pulses and for
20 seconds afterwards
Single tone pulses - LED flickers rapidly during pulses
and for 20 seconds afterwards
(LED remains bright - 'on' time much longer than 'off' time)
Two-tone pulses - LED flickers rapidly in bursts during
pulses and for 20 seconds afterwards
(LED remains bright - 'on' time much longer than 'off' time)
Single tone pulses - LED flickers rapidly during pulses
and for 20 seconds afterwards
(LED fainter - 'off' time longer than 'on' time)
Two-tone pulses - LED flickers rapidly in bursts during
pulses and for 20 seconds afterwards
(LED fainter - 'off' time longer than 'on' time)
Unit does not beep normally when triggered, but will either
attempt to reset (four high pitch beeps) or will continue to
beep periodically, even though roller is not moving
THREE LEVEL LOW
BATTERY WARNING
'Battery LOW' warning (level 1) - To maintain optimum
performance, battery should be replaced when this
warning is given. The unit will continue to function
correctly as a "stand-alone" bite alarm, if the battery is
not replaced, but full transmission range is not
guaranteed and will begin to decline. Maximum volume
will also be reduced.
'Battery FAIL' warning (level 2) - Battery should be
replaced immediately when this warning is given. If the
battery is not replaced, the unit may not continue to work
correctly. Transmission range will be severely affected, or
may not work at all. Maximum volume will be severely
reduced.

LOW BATTERY
WARNING
* Reducing volume and/or tone
settings will prolong battery life, as it
will reduce the demand on the battery
* Because the unit checks its battery
condition each time it is triggered,
reducing volume/tone settings may
result in no more warnings being
apparent for some time
* Conversely, greatly increasing
volume/tone settings after a low
battery warning may result in
immediate battery failure
