7.4 Extinguishing the flame

Turn the knob to the off position "a" (fig . 2, ref . a, page 2) .

The burner is closed .

Wait for about five seconds .

IMPORTANT!
Turn the knob to position "d" (fig . 2 ref . d, page 2) to

make sure the flame is out .
The burner is open .

7.5 Closing the stove canister with the gasket
If the appliance is not to be used for a long period, close the canister with the
rubber gasket to prevent the denatured alcohol from evaporating .
Make sure the appliance is turned off and cooled to ambient
h
temperature .
Press the button at the front of the appliance (fig . 4, page 3) .

Lift the upper part of the appliance .
h
Place the gasket over the canister opening .
h
Close the upper part of the appliance .
h
The canister is closed .
