General safety instructions
● Danger of asphyxiation!
Before starting the device, ensure that the area is sufficiently
ventilated .
● Place a class A fire extinguisher (for alcohol fires) within easy
reach .
Ensure the fire extinguisher is regularly checked by qualified
personnel .
● This appliance must only be used by responsible adults .
During and immediately after use the accessible parts may be
hot, do not touch them and keep children away . After cooking,
return the knob/s to its/their closed position/s .
IMPORTANT!
● Use the appliance only as intended .
2.2 Safety precautions when handling denatured alcohol
WARNING!
● Store alcohol in suitable containers only and at a sufficient
distance from the stove, from heating and cooking devices and
from other light and heat sources .
● Eliminate all sources of sparks or flames where the alcohol is
stored or poured .
● Never fill the canisters while they are still in the appliance .
Never pour fuel through the burner openings at the top of the
stove (fig . 1, page 2) .
● Overfilling, spilt alcohol and hot objects can cause severe
burns .
● As denatured alcohol burns with an almost invisible flame,
great damage may occur before the danger is noticed .
WARNING!
● Mop up any spilt alcohol immediately to prevent uncontrollable
burning .
● Do not smoke when handling alcohol or when operating the
stove .
