Maintenance services
General conditions
The maintenance service must be carried out at least
once a year.
The scopes of maintenance and additional
maintenance work required at specific intervals are listed
in this Maintenance Booklet, and these are compulsory.

Only the service products approved in the Mercedes-
Benz Specifications for Service Products are to be used.
The scope and frequency of maintenance work depend
primarily on the engine operating conditions and the oil
grade used.
The Mercedes-Benz maintenance system includes
three engine maintenance categories with different main-
tenance intervals.
