5.10 Resetting the radio
Resetting the radio will delete all the tuned DAB+ stations and all the preset memory stations in
FM and DAB+ mode.
To reset the radio:
Press and hold the Menu/Info (5) button in FM and DAB+ mode.
Press the Prev. (8) or next (6) button repeatedly, until "System" is shown on the display (3).
Confirm with the Select/-Volume+ (4) button.
Use the Prev. (8) or next (6) button to look for the option "Factory Reset" and press the Select/-
Volume+ (4) button.
Select with the Prev. (8) or next (6) button the option "Yes" and confirm with the Select/-
Volume+ (4) button.
On the display (3) is "Restarting..."showing. After a few seconds, the display (3) will show
"Welcome to Digital Radio" and then "Scanning ..." while searching for DAB + / FM stations. The
appliance starts again with the factory settings.
note: Resetting to factory settings will delete all stored DAB + and FM stations.

You can connect a set of headphones / earphones (not provided) to the 3.5 mm headphone jack
(12) at the back of the appliance.
note: When the headphones / earphones are connected, the main speakers (9) are muted.

TROuBleSHOOTInG

Problem
Appliance does not work. Power adapter (15) is not
The desired station is not
found.
The display (3) is empty.
Some stations are noisy.
No sound through the
speakers (9).
Bad DAB/FM reception.
Appliance does not react
to pressed buttons / keys.
Function

Setting of the OSD language
This option resets all settings to their original factory defaults. All
time and station settings will be deleted. After the system reset,
automatically a new station scanning in the DAB band will be started
when the appliance is switched on again for the first time.
Displays the version number of the control software currently installed
in your radio.
Possible cause
connected properly.
Batteries are discharged and / or
not inserted correctly.
Weak signal or the station is not
available in your area.
The broadcaster changes its
service or name.
The batteries are low or weak
station signal.
Volume is set too low.
Earphones / headphones are
connected to the appliance.
The Telescopic antenna (10) is not
pulled out.
Malfunction due to electrostatic
discharge.
Solution
Check if the power adapter (15) is properly
connected to the DC 5V inlet (13) at the
back of the appliance and to a wall outlet
Insert four new batteries of the type LR6
AA. Check if batteries are inserted correctly.
Use the manual tuning for the station.
The appliance tries to set the station again.
If not successful, perform a new scan for
stations.
Replace the batteries or change to mains
operation. Reorient the DAB / FM antenna
(10).
Increase the volume level.
Disconnect the earphones / headphones.
Pull out completely and rotate the antenna
(10) for best reception.
Disconnect the appliance from the power
supply. Connect the power adapter (15)
again to a wall outlet.
