3.1 unpacking
Remove all packaging.

Place the appliance on a level, stable, clean and dry surface.

Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation. Keep a minimum distance of 5 cm between the product

and other objects or walls.
3.2 Power supply
The appliance can either be powered through a wall outlet or with batteries.

Insert the power adapter (15) into the DC 5V inlet (13) at the back of the appliance. Connect the
„
power plug to a suitable wall outlet. Make sure that the power supply voltage is the same as
needed for the appliance
3.3 Battery operation
Open the battery compartment (11) at the back of the

appliance.
Insert 4 batteries (1.5 V, type LR6 AA) (not supplied) according
„
to the polarity markings inside the battery compartment (11)
and on the batteries.
Use batteries of high quality only. Batteries of low quality might
„
leak and cause damage. Do not use new and old batteries
together. Close the battery compartment lid after inserting the
batteries.
