tures that will help you brew the perfect cup of tea.

iMPOrtAnt sAFetY instructiOns

Read carefully and save all the instructions provided with an appliance.
• This appliance must not be used for anything other than its intended pur-
pose.
• The outside surface will get very hot during use. Always hold the handle
when the kettle is filled with hot water. Please take great care when han-
dling your kettle.
• Do not switch the kettle with open lid in order to avoid an injury or hazard-
ous situations. Do not open the lid when the kettle is operating.
• Place your kettle on a stable, horizontal and level surface.
• Do not operate the appliance in the presence of explosive and/or flam-
mable liquids or fumes.
• Do not operate the appliance in damp or wet locations. This appliance
must not be placed on or near any objects that heat up (such as a gas or
electric hob). Keep it away from the direct sunlight.
• Do not use the appliance if the mains lead or extension cord is damaged
or overloaded.
• Always make sure the appliance is off before you unplug it or before
cleaning.
• In order to avoid electrical shock hazard, do not touch the plug by wet
hand. When removing the plug from the wall socket hold it by the body.
• Ensure that the mains cord of the kettle is kept away from the surfaces
which can damage it, do not kink the mains cord and never place inap-
propriate objects on it.
• Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains cord or the appliance itself
is damaged. If the mains cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by
a service center specialist or similarly qualified person in order to avoid
a hazard.
• Never immerse the kettle, mains cable, the plug, or base unit in water or
any other liquid.
• Never use abrasive cleaning agents and/or chemically aggressive liquids
(such as petrol or acetone) to clean the appliance.
• This kettle is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions
by a person responsible for their safety.
• There are no user-serviceable parts inside – refer to qualified service per-
sonnel. Never temper your kettle!
• In order to avoid a hazard, do not operate the kettle if the mains cord or
plug are damaged, or if the appliance malfunctions or is damaged in any
way. Please refer to your service center.
• A the end of life do not throw away the kettle, but hand it in at an official
collection point for recycling.
• Save this user's manual, guarantee leaflet and sales receipt. Please hand
over the documents in case you will present this kettle to another person.

Long life stainless steel with a premium brushed and polished finish de-
livers quality and style to suit any kitchen décor.
2. 2400 watt concealed element
The fast boil 2400 watt element is concealed in the base of the kettle
for longer element life. The smooth stainless floor reduces scale build up
and allows for easy cleaning.
3. twin water level gauges
Full length water gauge indicates the volume of water in the kettle up
to 1.8L. The two gauges make the kettle convenient to use for both left
and right handed users.
4. 360 degree cordless power base
Designed to allow you to place the kettle on the base in any direction.
Convenient for both left and right handed users.
5. cord storage facility
Excess cord can be wound around the cord storage facility underneath
the power base.
6. removable mesh filter
Keeps the water clean of any foreign matter and is removable for easy
cleaning.
7. 3-Way safety system
1 – Automatically switches the kettle off after boiling.
2 – Cuts out for boil-dry protection.
3 – Shuts down in case of an electrical fault.
8. hinged locking lid
For ease of use the lid is activated by a single press of a button. The
design is ideal for one-handed filling and also locks shut to prevent ac-
cidental scalding.
9. Power base with LcD display panel
The LCD screen displays the current temperature and the selected
temperature. When the heating cycle is in progress it also displays the
amount of time remaining (in minutes and seconds) before the selected
temperature is reached.
10. stArt / cAnceL
Once the desired temperature has been selected the START/CANCEL
button initiates the heating cycle. It is also a quick start function. If the
START/CANCEL button is pressed before a temperature is selected, the
previous settings are initiated.
11. temp
Enables the user to select from 5 different temperatures; 80°C, 85°C,
90°C, 95°C and 100°C (boil).
