Connecting to the power supply

• Connect the power supply line 2 x 1.5mm² (electrician)
• Only water-resistant round cable with max. outside diameter
of 5.0 to 6.5mm must be used.
• Electrical installation work must only be performed by a
qualified electrician. This work must be performed in
accordance with regulations IEC 364-7-701-1984
(corresponds to VDE 0100 Part 701) as well as all national
and international regulations.
• The voltage supply must be separately switchable.
• Regarding 38 511: The mounting box must be connected to
the earthing clamp and the earthing cable at the designated
locations (see Fig. Page I).
• Regarding 38 387: Connect the earth cable
(see Fig. Page I).

Safety notes

• Installation is only possible in frost-free rooms.
• Electronic fittings are only suitable for indoor use.
• In the case of damage to the external transformer and
control unit connection cable, this must be replaced by the
manufacturer or his customer service department or an
equally qualified person, in order to prevent a hazard.
• When cleaning the fitting (the urinal) it must be ensured that
the tile frame behind which the electronics are installed is
not sprayed directly with water.
• In order to provide optimum water resistance, the tile frame
must be sealed.
