Dear Customer, Thank you for choosing this Atlas Filtri
EN
Declaration of Specific Purposes to which the appliance is intended:
HYDROPUL self-cleaning filters have been designed and manufactured by using innovative technical solutions in
terms of the efficiency of the filter cartridge cleaning system, via equi-current washing, which ensures the removal
of the substances deposited on the surface of the cartridge. The filter has a nominal rating of 70 micron. When the
filter element is clogged, the cleaning cycle is performed by simply opening the valve at the bottom of the bowl. The
equi-current flow of water brings with it particles and substances deposited on the cartridge and conveys them to
the drain. When the valve closes, the filter immediately becomes operational again.
The HYDROPUL filter can be equipped with a drain funnel (optional), a device to protect drinking water from being
polluted in hydraulic systems, with the purpose of preventing backflow, in accordance with the UNI EN 1717
European Standard of November 2002. This device prevents backflow, bleeding all the elements into the
atmosphere downstream of the drain valve (protection unit symbol: DC).
OPERATING CONDITIONS
Maximum operating pressure: 8 bars (116 psi).
Maximum operating temperature:
HYDROPUL version 45°C (113°F) / HYDROPUL HOT version 70°C (158°F)
Minimum operating temperature: 4°C (39.2°F)

CAUTION: only use the filter in accordance with the operating conditions. If the pressure of the hydraulic system
exceeds 8 bar, install a pressure reducer. We recommend installing a device against water hammers to protect the
filter. Failure to comply with the operating conditions shall render the warranty null and void.
INSTRUCTIONS AND USE MANUAL
- Exclusively use to treat water mains of a known drinking quality, and in any way, only use water with a pH between
6.5 and 9.5. Do not use for compressed air and gases.
- Comply with the operating limits reported on the label. Keep away from excessive ice and heat.
- Keep away from light sources, only install opaque HYDROPUL HOT models in full light.
- Only use HYDROPUL HOT models to filter hot water (up to 70°C)
- If not used for an extended period of time, remove the cartridge.
- When resuming use: let the water flow for at least 5 minutes before using it.
WARNING: do not use drinking water after using the product for technical/technological purposes other than the
intended one or for non-drinking water/other liquids.
WARNING: for uses different form those foreseen, it is mandatory to have technical consent of the
manufacturer/reseller.
Directions for disposal: after the filter has been used, proceed with disposal according to current local and national
regulations by using the designated CER code.
GENERAL WARNINGS

to not try disassemble it or tamper with it. Contact the dealer directly for repairs.
Before installation, verify that the hydraulic system is completed according to best practice.
- For operating pressure exceeding 8 bar, it is necessary to install a pressure reducer upstream.
- Do not expose the appliance to 'water hammers' (instant pressure peaks, usually caused by quick opening/closing
valves). Should there be any signs of a 'water hammer', install a suitable system to prevent it (expansion vessel,
dampers, etc.) downstream of the appliance.
- Only use original spare parts.
CAUTION: in case of non-appropriate use, not conforming to use instructions or equipment tampering, the
