Installation height 2.5-4 m: rec-
ommended drop height of 30
cm installation height 4.5-6 m:
recommended drop height of
50 cm
Note: The image (► p. 7,
fig. A) represents the drop
angle of the awning when fully
extended. The minimum height
of the front profile (3) is 2.5 m.
The recommended height of
the front profile (3) is 2.5 – 4 m.
Note: The position of the
brackets (1) have already been
marked on the awning in the
factory.
Note: Be sure to follow the
instructions on the label on the
bottom of the cassette.
Measure the width between the
brackets (1) using the tape meas-
ure and write down the values.
Draw a horizontal line at the height
of the desired installation location.
Use a long strip, a spirit level and
chalk (► p. 7, fig. B).
Mark the positions (written down
values) of the brackets (1) using
the tape measure and chalk.
Hold the brackets against the wall
and mark the drill holes with chalk.
Use a 12 mm masonry drill to drill
the corresponding holes for the
brackets (1).
Make sure that the holes are 9 cm
deep and pass through solid brick
or concrete (► p. 7, fig. C). Do not
drill through mortar, since this does
not provide the necessary support.

Installing the brackets

Remove nuts, sealing rings and
washers from the masonry screws
and place them carefully to the
side.
Insert the masonry screws into the
pre-drilled holes (► p. 7, fig. D).
Note: If necessary, hit the
masonry screws with a mallet.
Loosen the nut on the front part
of the thread. for this purpose.
This prevents damage to the
thread. Never use a metal ham-
mer, since this could damage
the thread of the masonry
screws.
First place the washers and then
the brackets (1) on the masonry
screws.
Now place the sealing rings on the
screw heads and tighten the nuts
with a hexagon wrench (► p. 7,
fig. E).
Note: Use a ring wrench for
this purpose. This prevents
damaging the nuts.
Make sure that the brackets (1) are
firmly seated in the wall as soon as
the masonry screws are com-
pletely screwed in. If necessary,
tighten the masonry screws again
if the brackets (1) can still be
moved.
Make sure once again that the
brackets (1) are firmly bolted to the
wall.

Installing the awning

Hook the awning as shown
(► p. 7, fig. F1) into the brack-
ets (1).
