Safety instructions
•
Technical knowledge is required to
install the awning. Do not install
this awning yourself if you are:
•
uncertain whether the awning
can be mounted in the chosen
place.
•
do not understand the instruc-
tions or parts thereof.
•
do not have the necessary
tools.
•
do not have the required tech-
nical knowledge.
•
Never alter the design or configu-
ration of the system without con-
sulting the manufacturer or author-
ized representative, since this can
create a dangerous situation.
•
Do not install the awning if you find
damaged parts or parts are miss-
ing.
•
When extended, various forces,
including wind and rain, affect the
awning. These sometimes consid-
erable forces must be absorbed by
the awning and transferred to the
structure via the mounting brack-
ets. Excessive force can act on the
mounting anchors when the awn-
ing is under extreme load. There-
fore, prior to installation, check the
load-bearing capacity of the
mounting structure and, if neces-
sary, take the necessary measures
to ensure that the holders are prop-
erly secured. Contact a specialist
in your area if the mounting is not
secure.
•
The awning is only suitable for pro-
tection from the sun. It may not be
used in strong wind (wind speed:
>10.8 m/s), rain, hail or snow. If
such conditions prevail, roll-up the
awning immediately.
